Cortijo de Garrapilos (Florida Barca) — Cortijo de Garrapilos is a Spanish military facility. It's primary goal since the late 1800's has been to produce stallions both PRE and Arabian to improve the bloodstock of horses throughout Spain.
Rancho Los Angeles — Below are a few images of the beautiful horses at Rancho Los Angeles. Quite a number of their stallions and mares are Cartuja, considered the purest of the PRE (Pure Spanish Horse).
Hacienda Buena Suerte — Andalusia is "horse country" in Spain, but it's not just PRE horses. At Haciendo Buena Suerte we photographed PRE, Lusitano (a close first cousin of the PRE), and even a couple of American Quarter Horses.
